      Who is Sam Gibbs?

      Sam Gibbs is a composer and producer based in Bristol, UK. He is currently working on the soundtrack for top selling video game PlateUp! He has also composed and produced a number of songs for one of the UK's biggest YouTube channels, The Yogscast , amassing over 2 million views.

      Sam has over 10 years of experience and achieved a 1st class undergraduate degree in BSs Creative Music Technology in 2013. He has written music for a number of podcasts, Twitch channels, YouTube channels and other commercial projects. An active musician, as a drummer in the comedy rock band, Mr Sam & The Dednutz having performed at the YogCon festival to an audience of 1,000 people plus over 30,000 more watching at home on Twitch. Sam also plays drums and guitar in the indie rock band, Way Back When .

      He's always up for an exciting new challenge, and is actively seeking new opportunities!

      PlateUp!

      PlateUp!

      PlateUp! combines chaotic kitchen and restaurant management with strategic planning and development to create a delightful roguelite dish unlike any other.

      Sam composed and produced the core set of tracks for PlateUp! just a couple of weeks before the game's release. He is currently working on more tracks to expand the game's soundtrack. Coming to Spotify soon!

      Dwarves vs Leprechauns

      Dwarves vs Leprechauns is a song composed for The Yogscast to celebrate St Patrick's Day. It currently has over 2 million views on YouTube and nearly half a million listens on Spotify.

      Sam developed the intial concept for the song and composed the music whilst working closely with members of The Yogscast to write the lyrics.

        A Christmas song composed and produced for The Yogscast, Sam worked closely with The Yogscast to develop the concept and compose the music.
      • The Best Christmas Song Ever
        Another Christmas song composed and produced for The Yogscast. Sam fully developed the concept, writing the lyrics, composing and producing the music.
      • Podcast, Twitch & YouTube Intros
        Sam has worked on a number of intros for podcasts, Twitch streams and YouTube videos for a number of different clients with a wide range of varying requirements. Here is a short reel of just a few of them.
